Reading Interventions
The Middle School has multiple interventions that are offered to students. These interventions are offered in addition to the instruction students are receiving in their ELA classes.
Students are recommended for interventions based on teacher observation as well as performance in reading and writing compared to grade level benchmarks. Communication is ongoing between the literacy specialist and classroom teachers to insure that the appropriate skills are being targeted and the student is responding to the interventions.
